A Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) has been signed between NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) and Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited (CSPGCL) during the Chhattisgarh Energy Investors Summit. The partnership aims to develop renewable energy projects in Chhattisgarh, targeting up to 2 GW of capacity across solar, wind, and hybrid setups, along with identifying reservoirs for floating solar projects. The proposed joint venture will be structured with NGEL holding 74% and CSPGCL 26% of the shareholding. NGEL will appoint three directors to the joint venture's board, while CSPGCL will appoint one. The initial authorized and paid-up share capital of the joint venture will be ₹10 lakh.
