The Board of Directors of Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited has announced a capacity enhancement plan to increase the production capacity of Ring Main Units (RMUs). Currently, the company operates at an approximate capacity of 25,600 functions, with utilization nearing 90%. The proposed expansion seeks to boost capacity by 25%, raising total RMU functionality to around 32,000. This enhancement requires an investment of INR 15.8 Crores and is expected to be completed by the end of June 2026. The funding will primarily come from internal accruals and borrowings, with the initiative aimed at meeting growing market demand.
