Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has awarded BeTogether, a new initiative from Omaxe Group, the contract to modernize six key bus terminals in the state: Ghaziabad, Lucknow (Gomti Nagar), Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Ayodhya, and Lucknow (Amausi). This substantial project involves an investment of approximately INR 2700 crore and is projected to generate over INR 4715 crore in revenue. Each terminal will feature enhanced infrastructure, including automated ticketing, waiting lounges, escalators, and extensive commercial spaces. The aim is to significantly improve public transport infrastructure while also creating vibrant business ecosystems. With a strong focus on modern amenities and passenger comfort, these upgrades are positioned as critical to enhancing urban connectivity and economic growth in Uttar Pradesh.
