Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited is set to acquire a 34.52% stake in Kilavikulam Rajalakshmi Solar Power Developer Private Limited for ₹3 crore, buying 30 lakh shares at ₹10 each. This acquisition aims to tap into renewable energy to bolster the group's commitment to reach RE100 by 2030 and achieve carbon negativity by 2040. The project will enable Dalmia to utilize solar power as a captive consumer, enhancing its sustainability credentials. The transaction is expected to close within two months, subject to customary conditions.
