Motherson has become a Tier 1 supplier to Airbus commercial aircraft, as confirmed by a multi-year contract signed through its subsidiary, CIM Tools India Pvt. Ltd. Components and assemblies will be delivered directly to Airbus' final assembly lines from Motherson’s aerospace facility in Bengaluru. This development follows Motherson's existing Tier 1 supplier status for Airbus Helicopter and Airbus Defence and Space.

Chairman Vivek Chaand Sehgal expressed pride in this recognition, highlighting Motherson's manufacturing capabilities and commitment to high-quality standards. Kunal Bajaj, President of Motherson’s Aerospace Business Division, noted that this status is expected to significantly enhance business growth and reflects their ongoing investments in advanced manufacturing technologies. The aerospace division operates 16 facilities across four countries and focuses on innovative solutions for major aerospace OEMs, covering all aircraft sections. This achievement suggests a positive outlook for Motherson's position in the global aerospace supply chain.
