Embassy Developments Limited has appointed Jitendra Virwani as Chairman and Aditya Virwani as Managing Director, while Sachin Shah remains CEO and Rajesh Kaimal takes on the role of CFO. This restructuring aims to enhance corporate governance and support the expansion strategy. The Board approved asset acquisitions worth ₹559 crores, comprising a residential development in North Bengaluru and additional land for plotted housing. A ₹2,000 crore Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) is set to enhance financial flexibility for growth initiatives, supplemented by a new Employee Stock Option Plan. The revamped leadership aims to drive significant growth, with eight new project launches slated for FY 2026, valued at ₹15,000 crores. EDL is positioned strongly to redefine the real estate landscape in India under the Embassy brand. Shareholder approval will be sought for these initiatives at an Extraordinary General Meeting on March 25, 2025.
