Vibhor Steel Tubes Ltd. has commenced trial production at its new greenfield facility in Sundargarh, Odisha, which has a capacity of 120,000 MTPA. The commercial production is expected to begin by the end of March 2025, following the installation of an electricity connection. The facility is part of a Rs 119.83 crore project aimed at producing value-added products such as crash barriers and high mast lighting poles, which will enhance the company's ability to tap into eastern India’s market demand.

On the financial front, Vibhor Steel reported a standalone net profit of Rs 3.43 crore for Q3FY25, reflecting a 287% sequential increase. However, operating income slightly decreased to Rs 247.25 crore compared to Rs 251 crore last year. For the nine months ending December 31, 2024, the company recorded a net profit of Rs 7.34 crore. The introduction of a new product line for power transmission structures positions VSTL for potential growth, bolstering its strategic direction in a competitive market.
