The acquisition, valued between INR 55 crore and INR 83 crore based on adjusted EBITDA, involves the transfer of all laboratories and collection centers from Scientific Pathology.

Scientific Pathology has built a strong brand over 40 years, generating 90% of its INR 26 crore FY24 revenue from walk-in patients and boasting a strong digital presence. This acquisition aligns with Metropolis' strategy of integrating established labs to create regional hubs. The company aims to leverage this new asset to expand access to advanced diagnostics, reinforcing its commitment to quality healthcare delivery across the region.
