Larsen & Toubro has secured significant orders for its Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) segment, expanding its portfolio both domestically and internationally. In India, it will implement 765kV and 400kV transmission line segments linked to a Renewable Energy Zone in Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, a turnkey contract for a 400kV transmission line to evacuate power from a non-fossil fuel-based power plant in southern India has also been awarded.

Internationally, L&T has won a contract in Saudi Arabia for a 380kV Gas Insulated Substation, which includes associated reactors and the installation of hybrid GIS bays. Furthermore, in Abu Dhabi, the company received an order to establish a new 220/33kV grid station and related works. These repeat orders from established clients highlight L&T's pivotal role in enhancing grid infrastructure and promoting renewable energy generation. The recent wins are likely to strengthen L&T's market position and operational growth, indicating a positive outlook for the company.
