Woodpecker Greenagri Nutrients Private Limited, a subsidiary of Som Distilleries and Breweries Limited, is launching a greenfield project in Khimsepur, Dist. Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, with an estimated investment of Rs. 600 crores. The 40-acre site, allocated by the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority, will include a brewery, distillery, and other manufacturing facilities. Construction is set to begin soon, pending regulatory approvals from the UP Government.
