Production of iron ore for February 2025 shows a total output of 4.62 million tonnes (MT), up from 3.92 MT in February 2024. Cumulatively, the production for the period up to February 2025 stands at 40.49 MT, a marginal increase from 40.24 MT a year earlier, while sales dipped to 40.20 MT compared to 40.48 MT previously. Notably, production in Chhattisgarh decreased from 3.41 MT to 3.37 MT year-on-year, while Karnataka experienced a significant increase in output from 0.51 MT to 1.25 MT.
