The Asset Liability Management Committee (ALCO) of Indian Bank has revised the Treasury Bills Linked Lending Rates (TBLR), effective from 03.03.2025. The revisions include a decrease in rates across various tenors: for tenors of up to 3 months, the rate is reduced from 6.55% to 6.45%; for over 3 months to 6 months, from 6.65% to 6.55%; and for both over 6 months to 1 year and over 1 year to 3 years, the rate has been adjusted to 6.55%. The Marginal Cost of Funds based Lending Rate (MCLR) and the Base Rate remain unchanged at 8.30% and 9.85%, respectively. This adjustment could enhance the bank's competitive positioning as lower rates may attract more borrowers, positively influencing future loan growth.
