Dalmia Bharat Limited is set to enhance its cement production capabilities by investing approximately Rs 3,520 Crore in Maharashtra and Karnataka. This strategic initiative involves the establishment of a 3.6 MnTPA clinker unit and a 3 MnTPA grinding unit at the Belgaum plant in Karnataka, alongside a new greenfield grinding unit in Pune, Maharashtra, with the aim of catering to the growing infrastructure demand in Western India. Once completed, these expansions will elevate the company’s total cement capacity to 55.5 MnTPA. The new units are expected to be operational by Q4 FY27, positioning the company closer to its long-term goals of achieving 75 MnTPA capacity by FY28 and 110-130 MnTPA by 2031. This capacity increase is part of Dalmia Bharat’s Phase II expansion strategy and aligns with its commitment to sustainability and creating long-term value for shareholders. The company remains focused on operational excellence as it seeks to strengthen its position as a pan-India player in the cement market.
