Dalmia Bharat Limited — Important, 28-02-2025: General Updates

Dalmia Bharat Limited's wholly-owned subsidiaries, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited and Dalmia Bharat Green Vision Limited, have approved significant capacity additions to enhance production capabilities. The Belgaum plant will see Clinker capacity boosted by 3.6 million tonnes (MnT) and Cement capacity by 3.0 MnT, while the Pune plant will add another 3.0 MnT in Cement capacity. The existing manufacturing capacity for Cement stands at 46.6 MnT, with a current utilization of 60%. This expansion, requiring an investment of ₹3,520 Cr, is set to be commissioned by the fourth quarter of FY 2026-27 and aims to strengthen the company’s presence in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Goa. This strategic move is expected to position Dalmia Bharat for growth, suggesting a positive outlook for investors as the company seeks to capture new market opportunities.
