Tata Steel Limited has acquired 788,53,50,318 ordinary equity shares of T Steel Holdings Pte. Ltd. for USD 1,238 million (₹10,726.85 crore). This acquisition maintains TSHP as a wholly owned subsidiary, supporting Tata Steel's strategic goals. The funds will be utilized to repay external debts of offshore entities and aid in the restructuring of Tata Steel UK Limited. This investment will enhance Tata Steel's operational flexibility and financial stability, reinforcing its global presence while ensuring full control over TSHP's strategic direction.
