Blue Star Limited — Important, 25-02-2025: Capacity addition

Blue Star Limited has commissioned a new assembly line for manufacturing Room Air Conditioners at its Sri City Plant through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Blue Star Climatech Limited. The existing production capacity of 60,000 units per month is currently utilized at 69.44%. This new capacity addition of 20,000 units per month is expected to be phased in by FY26, with an investment of approximately ₹200 crore financed through internal accruals. This expansion will enable the company to meet the growing demand for air conditioners, positioning it favorably in the market.
