Kalyani Powertrain, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bharat Forge, has entered a collaboration with AMD to develop and manufacture advanced EPYC™ CPU-based servers in India, aiming to enhance the country’s server infrastructure. This partnership integrates AMD’s cutting-edge technology into locally produced solutions, which will support the growing demand for high-performance computing in sectors such as automotive, telecommunications, and cloud computing.
The servers will leverage AMD EPYC™ processors known for their energy efficiency and performance, with plans to introduce AMD Instinct™ accelerators in the future for enhanced AI and computing capabilities. This initiative aligns with India's 'Make in India' campaign, reducing reliance on imports and advancing local manufacturing. The collaboration is poised to accelerate digital transformation across industries, positioning India as a significant player in the global AI and cloud computing landscape.
