EaseMyTrip's subsidiaries, YoloBus and Easy Green Mobility, have achieved a significant milestone by winning Madhya Pradesh’s first inter-city electric bus tender. This initiative aims to address the high demand for sustainable public transport amid limited electric vehicle supply. The first batch of buses will be deployed in August 2025, featuring advanced technology and passenger comfort.

CEO Rikant Pittie highlighted the company's shift into in-house electric bus manufacturing as a strategic move to cater to market needs and capitalize on the rapidly growing electric vehicle sector, projected to reach USD 331.9 million with a CAGR of 18.2%. An initial investment of ₹200 crore will support the project’s rollout.

YoloBus plans to expand its network to over 400 routes while introducing cutting-edge electric buses equipped with zero-carbon emissions and onboard amenities. This project reinforces EaseMyTrip’s commitment to sustainable mobility and strengthens its positioning in the electric vehicle landscape, aligning with India’s 'Make in India' vision.
