NTPC Limited and EDF India have signed a non-binding Term Sheet to collaborate on pumped storage and hydro projects, along with renewable energy opportunities. The agreement was signed during Elecrama 2025, marking a significant strategic partnership. Both companies plan to form a Joint Venture Company (JVC) with a 50:50 partnership, pending government approvals, to manage and execute these projects in India and neighboring countries.
