The Board of Directors of Andhra Paper Limited has approved the unaudited financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024. Key highlights include total income of ₹40,100.02 million, which is down from ₹50,070.02 million in the same quarter last year. The company recorded a profit before tax of ₹1,707.46 million, down from ₹11,620.04 million year-on-year, and a net profit after tax of ₹1,164.87 million compared to ₹8,246.93 million previously. A significant reappointment of Shri Virendra Sinha as an Independent Director was also approved, effective April 1, 2025.

Production and earnings were disrupted due to a planned annual outage at the Kadiam facility, coupled with a recent workers' strike at the Rajahmundry plant earlier this year. The company leveraged this downtime for modernization efforts, which may enhance efficiency moving forward. Investors should note the decline in earnings but remain optimistic about the long-term upgrades and operational stability once the disruptions are resolved. Keeping an eye on operational recovery will be crucial for assessing future performance.
