JTL Industries Limited has commenced operations at the RCI Industries & Technologies Limited (RCI) plant, following an MOU for producing up to 200 MT/month of copper and brass alloys through job-work. This facility in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, spans 27,000 sq. meters and has an installed capacity of 15,000 MTPA, with up to 6,000 MTPA dedicated to value-added products. The acquisition aligns with JTL’s expansion strategy, particularly into defense supplies, as India focuses on self-reliance and indigenous manufacturing. The management expressed optimism about entering new market segments and strengthening relationships, anticipating significant topline contributions by FY27 once the transaction is fully approved.
