Delta Corp Limited — Important, 20-02-2025: Sale or disposal

Delta Corp Limited and its wholly owned subsidiary, Deltatech Gaming Limited (DGL), have reached agreements with Head Digital Works Private Limited (Head Digital) for a strategic merger. Head Digital will initially acquire a 51% stake in DGL, followed by a complete merger. As part of this deal, Delta Corp is set to hold approximately 5.7% in Head Digital, which operates the online gaming brand ‘A23’. The total consideration for the transaction is around INR 491 Crore. The board has convened an extraordinary general meeting to seek shareholder approval for the merger, indicating a strategic move to strengthen its position in the competitive online gaming market. The merger is expected to enhance collaboration between the well-established online poker platform Adda52 and Head Digital’s extensive gaming portfolio, comprising online rummy and poker. This development is positioned to generate new growth avenues for Delta Corp, signaling a potential boost in market presence and revenue streams.
