Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited — New Orders, 20-02-2025: Bagging/Receiving of orders/contracts

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. has signed a contract with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, for the normal refit of the Mauritius Coast Guard Ship CGS Barracuda. This warship was originally constructed and supplied by GRSE in 2014. The contract, valued at approximately ₹23.07 crore plus 15% for potential additional work and spares, is an international engagement expected to be executed within 10 months from the ship's availability for refit at GRSE, Kolkata. This project not only reinforces GRSE’s ongoing relationship with international clients but could also enhance its competitive positioning in defense-related shipbuilding and maintenance services, indicating a positive outlook for future contracts and collaborations.
