Mahindra Group and Anduril Industries have formed a strategic partnership to collaborate on the development of Autonomous Maritime Systems and AI Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (CUAS) technologies. This initiative aims to bolster regional security by introducing next-generation autonomous solutions tailored for maritime operations, enhancing capabilities in Security, Surveillance, Survey, and Reconnaissance through the creation of modular Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).
Additionally, the partnership will focus on advanced CUAS technologies designed to detect and neutralize drone threats, alongside a sensor fusion platform that integrates various sensor technologies into a flexible architecture. Vinod Sahay from Mahindra emphasized the partnership’s significance in combining engineering expertise with innovative solutions to tackle emerging security challenges. Greg Kausner from Anduril highlighted the relevance of autonomy in addressing evolving threats in global security, positioning both companies as key players in the Indian market for advanced defense technologies. This collaboration positions Mahindra to enhance its portfolio in the defense and security sector, suggesting a positive outlook for future developments.
