An order was issued by the Deputy Commissioner (CT), LTU-DC1, Tamil Nadu, demanding a total of Rs. 9.82 million from Endurance Technologies, comprising Rs. 5.44 million in taxes, Rs. 3.85 million in interest, and Rs. 0.53 million in penalties. This demand pertains to the financial year 2020-21, primarily related to Credit Notes issued for sales return transactions and the interest on input tax credit (ITC) reversal. Despite providing supporting documentation and customer confirmations, the authority has only partially acknowledged the company’s submission. Endurance Technologies is currently preparing to appeal this decision. Importantly, the company has stated that this order will not result in any material impact on its financials or operations, indicating a positive outlook for its core activities.
