Puravankara Limited has pledged to plant 1 million trees by 2030 in and around Bengaluru, aligning with the World Economic Forum’s Trillion Tree Movement (1t.org). This initiative aims to enhance green cover, restore biodiversity, and sequester approximately 25,000,000 kg of carbon annually, contributing to climate mitigation efforts. The company will focus on native tree species to ensure a high survival rate, thereby supporting local ecosystems and providing community benefits through access to Non-Timber Forest Products.

Puravankara plans to plant approximately 1.56 lakh trees annually until 2030, building on its existing efforts, which have included planting 55,000 trees across rural areas and 7,000 in urban spaces. This commitment reflects a robust sustainability strategy that aims to create a lasting positive impact on the environment and demonstrates the company’s leadership in corporate environmental stewardship. Investors should view this initiative as a signal of Puravankara's commitment to long-term sustainable practices and community engagement.
