Saraswati Saree Depot Ltd. reported its financial results for Q3 and the first nine months of FY25. Total revenue for the nine-month period was Rs. 477.26 crore, reflecting a slight 2.23% decline year-on-year. Q3 revenue from operations dropped by 20.3% to Rs. 182.14 crore, influenced partly by seasonal demand fluctuations. EBITDA for the same quarter declined by 27.2% to Rs. 12.82 crore, with a corresponding EBITDA margin decrease of 67 basis points, now at 7.04%. The profit after tax (PAT) was reported at Rs. 7.88 crore for Q3, marking a significant 40.4% YoY reduction. Over the nine months, PAT reached Rs. 23.55 crore, down 6.85% compared to the prior year.
The company declared an interim dividend of Rs. 2.27 per share, utilizing surplus cash post growth funding. Management acknowledged the challenges faced in achieving revenue targets and is committed to reassessing strategies and improving operational efficiencies to enhance profitability. There’s an optimistic view on the necessity of these initiatives for long-term value creation.
