SAMIL reported revenues of Rs. 27,666 crores for Q3FY25, reflecting an 8% year-over-year increase. The growth is notable amid global automotive production challenges, showcasing the strength of its diversified business model. Noteworthy metrics include an EBITDA of Rs. 2,776 crores (up 13%) and PAT of Rs. 879 crores (up 20%).

During the quarter, SAMIL operationalized its first consumer electronics plant, contributing to its non-automotive sector ambitions, with two additional plants scheduled for start of production in FY26 and FY27. The company continues its strong financial discipline, reducing its capital expenditure guidance by Rs. 500 crores to Rs. 4,500 crores (+/- 5%) and achieving a leverage ratio of 0.9x, indicating a robust balance sheet.

SAMIL has also expanded through acquisitions, announcing the addition of Atsumitec and Baldi Auto to enhance diversification and vertical integration. Additionally, new joint ventures with Sanko and Matsui aim to strengthen the packaging and industrial automation sectors. Their position was further reinforced as they became a Tier-1 supplier to Airbus for commercial aircraft, complementing their established status with helicopters and space industries. Positive outlook ahead as SAMIL navigates through market complexities.
