Fortis Healthcare has signed agreements to acquire Shrimann Superspecialty Hospital in Jalandhar, Punjab, expanding its presence in the region. The deal, valued at approximately INR 462 Crore, involves an all-cash transaction by Fortis’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Fortis Hospotel Limited, and is subject to shareholder approval. Shrimann Hospital, operational since 2018 with a current capacity of 191 beds, can potentially expand to over 450 beds with additional land for future development. For FY 2024-25, the hospital is projected to generate revenues of about INR 154 Crore and an EBITDA of approximately INR 36 Crore.
