Cerebra Integrated Technologies LimitedImportant, 13-02-2025: Financial Result Updates

13-02-2025 | 07:56 pm

Cerebra Integrated Technologies Limited reported its consolidated financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024.

Total revenue grew to ₹31.67 crore, marking a year-over-year decline from the preceding period. The revenue contraction could be attributed to reduced demand and operational challenges faced within its e-waste recycling segment.

The company suffered a net loss of ₹8.29 crore compared to a loss of ₹20.62 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. This translates to an EPS of -₹0.74, an improvement against -₹1.84 in the previous year, indicating slight progress in managing losses despite overall challenges.

Operational expenses increased, with total expenses reaching ₹71.13 crore. Notably, the cost of materials consumed accounted for a significant portion at ₹28.12 crore, impacting overall profitability. Employee benefits and finance costs also represent substantial ongoing commitments, highlighting the need for tighter cost controls.

The balance sheet reflects ongoing issues with trade receivables, with ₹194.13 crore outstanding, of which a large portion is overdue. Provisions for doubtful debts remain low, raising concerns regarding the collectability of receivables and overall financial health.

Moving forward, the company’s strategic priorities may focus on improving operational efficiencies and restructuring efforts, particularly in its subsidiaries with negative net worth. Given the current financial performance and outlook, a cautious stance is appropriate.
