Kalpataru Projects International Limited has announced a board meeting to discuss its consolidated financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024.

The company reported total revenue from operations of Rs. 5,732.48 crore, a growth of 17.3% year-over-year driven by increased project activity in its Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) segment. This growth reflects a strong demand environment and successful market expansion efforts.

Net profit for the quarter stood at Rs. 202.02 crore, compared to Rs. 192.57 crore in the same quarter last year, marking a growth of 4.9%. Earnings Per Share (EPS) was reported at Rs. 8.67 against Rs. 8.70 previously. The slight increase in profit indicates stable operational performance despite rising cost pressures.

Total operational costs rose by 16.4% to Rs. 5,540.74 crore, led by increases in material costs and employee-related expenses. The company has maintained effective cost management strategies, which should enhance efficiency moving forward.

On the balance sheet front, total assets increased to Rs. 23,948.55 crore with a net debt-to-equity ratio of 0.61, illustrating a strong capital structure. The current ratio improved to 1.29, indicating a robust liquidity position.

Strategically, the focus appears to be on further market penetration and maintaining operational efficiency amidst external challenges. Investors may view this positively given the consistent operational performance and financial stability.

Based on these insights, a hold position might be prudent, considering the company’s growth trajectory balanced against prevailing cost pressures and market dynamics.
