Sanctions for GIC Housing Finance Ltd. increased significantly by 62% to ₹1,383 Cr in the nine months ended December 31, 2024, compared to the previous year. Disbursements also saw a robust rise of 59%, reaching ₹1,272 Cr. Interest income remained stable at ₹782 Cr, while total income grew to ₹813 Cr. On the expense side, total expenses decreased by 3% to ₹662 Cr, largely due to a substantial reduction in provisions for non-performing assets (NPA) from ₹40 Cr to ₹24 Cr.

Profit before tax improved by 21% to ₹151 Cr, with profit after tax rising by 28% to ₹125 Cr. The gross NPA portfolio has declined to ₹361 Cr, resulting in a lower gross NPA ratio of 3.47%. Notably, return on net worth increased to 6.49%, and the net profit margin improved to 15.38%. These results reflect a positive outlook for the company, demonstrating improved asset quality and profitability metrics. Investors should watch closely for continued growth in disbursements and further improvements in the NPA ratio.
