12-02-2025 | 10:07 pm

Sadbhav Infrastructure Project Limited has disclosed its financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024.

Consolidated revenues from operations stood at ₹1,739.11 crore, a decrease from ₹2,036.02 crore in the same period last year. The total income for this quarter was ₹2,043.01 crore, down from ₹2,103.01 crore year-over-year. This decline may be attributed to reduced construction activities and delays due to regulatory approvals.

The company reported a net profit of ₹67.28 crore before tax, contrasting with a loss of ₹1,228.19 crore in the previous year, primarily driven by a one-off exceptional item of ₹502.30 crore that positively affected the quarter. Profit after tax was similarly positive, with the basic EPS reported at ₹0.19, up from a loss of ₹3.53 in Q3 of the previous year.

Operational costs saw a noteworthy uptick, with total expenses reaching ₹1,908.51 crore, compared to ₹2,501.66 crore the prior year, reflecting ongoing efforts in cost management.

On the balance sheet front, consolidated assets and liabilities indicate a focus on maintaining liquidity as the company navigates current challenges in project execution. Additionally, the company is in arbitration for pending claims related to terminated projects, which could impact future cash flows.

Taking these financial trends into account, a cautious approach is suggested for investors. The company appears to be entering a path of improved profitability; however, the ongoing uncertainties in project execution and potential regulatory hurdles highlight the need for vigilant monitoring. Therefore, a hold position may be appropriate until further clarity emerges regarding operational stability and project recoveries.
