The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has renewed the authorization for Vakrangee Limited to set up, own, and operate White Label ATMs, extending the validity until March 31, 2026. As of January 31, 2025, Vakrangee operates 6,035 White Label ATMs, with 76% located in Tier 4 and Tier 6 regions, enhancing financial access in underserved areas. The Managing Director, Vedant Nandwana, highlighted the importance of this service within the Vakrangee Kendra Business Model, which includes 22,395 outlets, 81% of which are also situated in Tier 4 and 6 locations. The Kendras provide a diverse range of services including banking, insurance, and financial transactions, supported by technological advancements such as CCTV monitoring and digital advertising. This renewal signals a continued positive outlook for Vakrangee's operations and expansion in the financial services sector.
