Zuari Industries Limited has acquired an additional 50.85% stake in Forte Furniture Products India Private Limited (FFPIPL), which shifts FFPIPL's status from a subsidiary of Indian Furniture Products Limited to a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zuari Industries. This strategic move aims to streamline ZIL’s corporate structure and consolidate its shareholding in FFPIPL.

FFPIPL operates in the furniture industry, specializing in the manufacturing and trading of ready-to-assemble furniture, including well-known brands like Style Spa and Zuari. The company recorded a turnover of ₹38.92 crore for the financial year ending March 2024, solidifying its presence in the market.

The acquisition was executed through cash consideration of approximately ₹42.50 crore, enhancing ZIL’s control over FFPIPL. This consolidation presents a positive outlook for Zuari Industries, as it strengthens its position within the furniture sector and fosters potential growth through streamlined operations and integration of resources.
