Bharat Forge has entered into a collaboration with VEDA Aeronautics through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at developing advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and other high-speed aerial weapon systems. This partnership is part of the Make in India initiative and focuses on enhancing India's defense capabilities and promoting self-reliance. Bharat Forge will supply micro jet engines with a thrust of up to 400 Kgf, supporting VEDA's defense projects, which will utilize engines already in serial production. This collaboration signals a strategic move towards indigenous technology development in the aerospace sector, with significant implications for both Bharat Forge and VEDA in strengthening their competitive edge in the defense industry.
