Minda Corporation Limited reported a consolidated revenue of INR 1,253 crores for Q3 FY25, representing a 7% year-on-year increase. The company’s revenue for the first nine months of FY25 reached INR 3,735 crores, up 9% from the previous year. Domestic original equipment (OE) sales saw double-digit growth, although this was moderated by weak exports, particularly in Europe, and sluggish demand in the commercial vehicle segment. Notably, Minda achieved its highest-ever EBITDA margin at 11.5%, resulting in an EBITDA of INR 144 crores. Profit before tax and profit after tax stood at INR 90 crores and INR 65 crores, respectively.
Key developments included lifetime order wins exceeding INR 1,250 crores, with over 25% coming from electric vehicle (EV) platforms. A strategic partnership with Flash Electronics was solidified, acquiring a 49% stake for INR 1,372 crores. This partnership is aimed at enhancing Minda's capabilities in the EV space. With an order book surpassing INR 6,000 crores, the outlook remains positive, highlighting the potential for growth in both ICE and EV markets amid ongoing efforts in innovation and capacity expansion.
