Balaji Telefilms Limited has achieved a consolidated revenue of ₹ 386.8 crore for the nine months ending December 2024, demonstrating a recovery in financial health with an EBITDA profit of ₹ 5.4 crore, compared to a loss of ₹ 43.7 crore in the same period last year. The TV division remains a strong revenue contributor, generating ₹ 194.2 crore, while the digital segment shows promise with a narrowing EBITDA loss of ₹ 6.9 crore in Q3 FY25, down from ₹ 8.4 crore in the previous quarter. The company is expanding its content library, launching 46 original shows on its OTT platform, which has seen 7.34 lakh subscriptions in total.

Additionally, Balaji raised ₹ 130.67 crore through a preferential issue of equity shares, aimed at scaling its movie production and enhancing its digital content business. In line with its strategic vision, the proposed merger with ALT and MFPL has received necessary approvals, expected to streamline operations and improve profitability. With a strong movie pipeline, including 'Vrushabha' and 'Bhoot Bangla,' the company is well-positioned for future growth. Investors should maintain a positive outlook as operational efficiencies and content diversification strategies are set to bolster financial performance.
