C.S. Nopany, Co-Chairperson, noted the mixed outlook for the sugar season 2024-25 due to challenges like lower cane yields and recovery rates in key states. Despite these challenges, the company remains cautiously optimistic for the 2025-26 season, emphasizing the need for policy adjustments in light of rising production costs and stagnant ethanol prices. The ongoing enhancement of crushing capacity at the Hargaon unit is expected to contribute to value creation for stakeholders.
