11-02-2025 | 02:21 pm

Revenue from operations for the quarter ending December 31, 2024, was ₹20,987.63 crore, marking a 10.27% increase from ₹19,016.85 crore in the same quarter last year. This growth can be attributed to increased market demand and successful penetration into new sectors. Consolidated total income for the quarter stood at ₹21,055.51 crore, up from ₹20,603.92 crore, reflecting a stable operational environment.

The company reported a net loss of ₹1,079.99 crore for the quarter, compared to a loss of ₹370.07 crore in the previous year, influenced by heightened operational costs and a decline in profitability margins. The Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the quarter also dropped to -₹2.18 from -₹0.75 a year ago, demonstrating a significant financial setback.

Operational costs increased by approximately 11% year-on-year, driven primarily by rising material costs and higher employee expenses. This suggests challenges in cost management that may need addressing to improve profitability moving forward.

On the balance sheet, total debt levels remained stable, with no significant changes in cash flow positions, indicating reasonable liquidity for immediate operational needs. Analysts suggest a cautious outlook, highlighting the need for cost control measures and potential revenue diversification strategies.

Given the financial performance, particularly the substantial net loss and challenges in managing costs, a hold position is advisable for investors until clearer recovery strategies and performance improvements are evident.
