CRISIL Limited — Updates, 10-02-2025: Press Release
Crisil Limited reported its audited financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ending December 31, 2024. For Q4 2024, income from operations declined by 0.5% to ₹912.9 crore, while profit before tax (PBT) increased by 5.6% to ₹294.5 crore. Yearly income from operations rose by 3.8% to ₹3,259.8 crore with a PBT increase of 6.8% to ₹926.5 crore. The company announced a final dividend of ₹26 per share, bringing the total to ₹56 per share for the year, compared to ₹54 in the previous year.
The CEO, Amish Mehta, highlighted a resilient global economy, but expressed concerns over the macroeconomic outlook. Crisil anticipates India's GDP growth of 6.5% in the next fiscal year, as reductions in inflation and interest rates bolster economic prospects. However, potential tariff hikes may constrain exports, and investment growth remains subdued. The credit ratings segment showed strong performance, boosted by a surge in corporate bond issuances. Overall, Crisil maintains a positive outlook amid ongoing challenges.
