A significant partnership has been established between United Petro Shipping Pte Ltd and Sadhav Shipping Ltd to develop shipbuilding and comprehensive offshore facilities in Odisha. This initiative, documented in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during the "Utkarsh Odisha, Make in Odisha Conclave 2025," aims to construct large ships and associated repair services, meeting the needs of various vessel types, including oil tankers and naval ships.

The project aligns with India's Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047, promoting port-led development and maritime clusters. The new joint venture will engage in shipbuilding, dry dock repairs, oil rig maintenance, and integrated offshore supply facilities. By leveraging initiatives from the Union Budget 2025, this collaboration presents a positive outlook for both companies, enhancing their market position and potential growth in the maritime sector.
