Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Rajasthan Part I Power Transmission Limited (part of Adani Energy Solutions) for the BF800 HVDC Project. The initiative involves designing and executing High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) links, along with associated AC substations, to transmit renewable energy from Bhadla III (Rajasthan) and Fatehpur (Uttar Pradesh). The project includes the establishment of two HVDC LCC terminal stations, each with a capacity of 6000 MW, expected to be completed by 2030.
