Amara Raja Energy & Mobility reported a solid performance with a 10% increase in revenue, reaching ₹3,164.02 Cr for Q3 FY25. Profit Before Tax, accounting for exceptional items, stood at ₹422.16 Cr, reflecting a 27% YoY growth. For the nine-month period, revenue grew 11.4% to ₹9,431.04 Cr. Key growth drivers included the automotive aftermarket, UPS segment, and exports.
Despite elevated operational costs due to Fuel and Power Purchase Cost Adjustment (FPPCA) noted by the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission, the company also achieved a #1 ranking in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for India's electrical components and equipment sector.
Executive Director Harshavardhana Gourineni emphasized the company's expansion in European markets, while Vikramadithya Gourineni provided insights on upcoming Giga Corridor investments, including a new cell manufacturing plant. Chairman Jayadev Galla affirmed the commitment to sustainable growth and the advancement of Li-ion technology.
