Vibhor Steel Tubes Ltd (VSTL) reported a standalone net profit of Rs 3.43 crore for Q3FY25, marking a 287% sequential increase from Rs 0.88 crore in Q2FY25, though down 20% from Rs 4.31 crore a year earlier. Operating income for the quarter stood at Rs 247.25 crore, showing a slight year-on-year decline of 1.5%. EBITDA was reported at Rs 9.81 crore for Q3FY25.
The company is benefiting from rising demand in the steel sector, driven by infrastructure, housing, and automobile industries. Chairman Vijay Kaushik noted that the improving steel consumption is expected to grow by 9-10% this fiscal year, positively supporting sales. VSTL is diversifying its products, launching new offerings in value-added segments. For the nine months, net profit fell to Rs 7.34 crore from Rs 12.83 crore last year, with operating income at Rs 708.08 crore. The outlook remains positive, with potential growth driven by new product segments and an increasing share of exports.
