07-02-2025 | 04:54 pm

Indo Rama Synthetics (India) Limited has announced a board meeting to discuss the standalone and consolidated financial results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024.

For the quarter, the consolidated revenue stands at ₹2,250 crore, reflecting a growth of 12% year-over-year. This uptrend is attributed primarily to stronger demand in the textile sector and successful market expansion strategies.

The company reported a net loss of ₹150 crore compared to a loss of ₹120 crore in the previous year, leading to an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of -₹5. The decline in profitability is linked to rising operational costs and delays in capacity utilization, impacting overall efficiency.

Operational costs increased by 15%, emphasizing a need for enhanced cost management practices, as the current liabilities exceed current assets by ₹870 crore, raising concerns about liquidity.

The company maintains significant deferred tax assets of ₹258.61 crore. Management is optimistic about realizing these assets, relying on future profit projections driven by production expansion and favorable market conditions.

Strategically, Indo Rama appears focused on streamlining operations and expanding its market presence, which aligns with positive industry trends. Despite the challenges, the outlook remains cautiously optimistic.

Investor Insight: Given the company's performance amid rising costs and liquidity concerns, a hold position seems prudent with a focus on cost management improvements and asset realizability moving forward.
