Infibeam Avenues’ subsidiary, Rediff.com India Ltd., has obtained a Third-Party Application Provider (TPAP) license from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) for its digital platform, RediffPay. This license allows RediffPay to offer Unified Payments Interface (UPI) services, marking a strategic entry into the consumer digital payments sector. Axis Bank will act as the Payment Service Provider. Chairman Vishal Mehta expressed enthusiasm for this achievement, which aims to enhance financial inclusivity and provide seamless digital payment solutions across India. This milestone complements Infibeam's recent accomplishment of securing authorization to operate as a Payment Aggregator for its payment gateway brand, CCAvenue. With the TPAP license, RediffPay is positioned to significantly contribute to the expanding digital payments landscape in India.
