Walchandnagar Industries Limited — Updates, 07-02-2025: Press Release
Walchandnagar Industries Limited has posted its financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024. Despite a strategic shift towards the Defence & Missiles, Nuclear, Aerospace (DNA) sectors, the anticipated revenue growth did not materialize, largely due to challenges in the Foundry segment. Total revenue from operations reached ₹59.07 crore, reflecting a marginal increase from ₹56.86 crore in Q3 FY24. The company received a significant purchase order from Fluorine Korea Co. Ltd., valued at approximately ₹44.94 crore, for manufacturing the world's largest AHF kiln, enhancing its portfolio in high-growth markets. Additionally, WIL's proactive debt management saw the early repayment of ₹26.62 crore in high-interest debt, underscoring its focus on financial discipline. The recent Union Budget's emphasis on Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) indicates a positive outlook for WIL, further bolstered by planned advancements in India's nuclear power capacity, positioning the company favorably for future growth.
