Agro Tech Foods Limited has successfully completed the 100% acquisition of Del Monte Foods Private Limited, a move valued at approximately ₹1,300 crore through an all-stock transaction. This acquisition significantly bolsters ATFL’s position in the packaged foods sector, with the combined revenue exceeding ₹1,300 crore for FY24. The acquisition not only brings Del Monte’s diversified portfolio under ATFL but also grants exclusive rights to the Del Monte brand in India. The strategic synergy is expected to enhance innovation and operational efficiencies, driving growth in both retail and B2B segments. Following the acquisition, Bharti Enterprises and Del Monte Pacific Limited have emerged as significant shareholders with stakes of approximately 21% and 14%, respectively.
