MPL reported consolidated income of ₹683 crore for the nine months of FY 2024-25, showing a decline from ₹798.88 crore in the previous period. For the quarter ending December 31, total income was ₹200.49 crore, down from ₹236.01 crore in the previous quarter. Profit before tax (PBT) increased to ₹26.12 crore for the nine months, while profit after tax (PAT) reached ₹18.51 crore. The standalone results indicate that MPL recorded a loss of ₹3.6 crore, significantly reduced from a ₹14.08 crore loss in the prior quarter, aided by cost optimization strategies.
Key leadership changes were announced, including the elevation of Mr. R Chandrasekar to Managing Director & CEO, and several appointments to the board to strengthen governance.
